Why Moorea?

Mo'orea, a volcanic island near Tahiti, is a paradise of coral reefs, clear lagoons, lush mountains, and white sand beaches. Its warm waters are home to black tip reef sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, dolphins, and from July to October, migrating humpback whales.

Strict local rules allow only 6 people in the water at a time, ensuring ethical whale encounters. We work exclusively with a Licensed native captain and guide who focus on finding whales naturally, not following other boats  and offering intimate, respectful swims daily during the season. While the whales ultimately decide whether to approach, we regularly swim with them daily during the season.

The Lagoon Experience

Weather permitting, we’ll spend a half day meeting Mo'orea’s iconic stingrays and black tip reef sharks in the shallow lagoon.
